FAQ
Donna Orgilla is an organic white wine made from 100% Pecorino grapes, produced in the Marche region, in the Cossignano area. It is an Offida DOCG characterized by freshness, minerality, and balanced structure, with a dynamic and contemporary profile.
Donna Orgilla is distinguished by its straw-yellow color with greenish highlights and a bouquet of white flowers, citrus fruits, aromatic herbs, and fresh almonds. On the palate, it is fresh, savory, and mineral, with good acidity, medium body, and a long finish.
Donna Orgilla is made from grapes harvested by hand and vinified through spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts. After a brief cold maceration, the wine ferments and ages in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees for about 6 months, followed by bottle aging.
Pecorino is a native grape variety that stands out from many other white wines due to its greater structure, acidity, and minerality. Compared to lighter or more aromatic whites, it offers a more assertive, savory, and persistent palate, while still maintaining freshness and great drinkability. It is particularly versatile when it comes to food pairings and is also well-suited to more structured dishes.
